I’ve always been drawn to the mysteries of the universe and the meaningful coincidences that seem to shape our lives. But astrology truly came alive for me during my first natal chart reading. Hearing someone describe my inner world — my drive, my emotional patterns, even my lifelong connection with my Mom — without knowing anything about me felt like a revelation. That experience changed everything. It showed me that astrology isn’t abstract; it’s real, personal, and deeply validating.

As I began studying and applying astrology in my everyday life, my relationships transformed — especially the way I parented. I learned quickly that while we often identify with our sun sign, our moon sign reveals our emotional needs, our comfort zone, and how we process life. Understanding my kids’ moon signs helped me support them in a way that honored their natural energy rather than pushing against it. That experience opened my eyes to astrology’s greatest gift:

On my podcast, Astrology with Alisa, I bring astrology down to earth — sharing real stories about how planetary patterns show up in everyday moments: in family, friendships, conflict, communication, growth, and the choices we make. My goal isn’t to tell you who you are — it’s to help you recognize yourself and learn to work with your energy, not against it.

Astrology has been woven into my life in the most surprising and magical ways. One of my favorite synchronicities? When I began my studies, I was stunned to discover the famous 16th-century astrologer William Lilly... The surprise? My two children are named William and Lily.
